Love this hip & trendy spot. Like being on vacation in Palm Beach. The music, atmosphere, food and service were over the top. We were celebrating our anniversary and they surprised us with a complimentary dessert. The presentation and quality of the food was excellent. Brunch was fun and vibrant. I had … CARTEL BENEDICT EGGS Homemade topped with refried beans, barbacoa brisket, two poached eggs, fresh avocado, marble potatoes with Mexican chimichurri, and our chipotle hollandaise Sauce. Unbelievably good. Highly recommend
The Grassy Panther is an excellent outdoor spot for enjoying some spicy soup, chips and delicious salsa. We were here for lunch so we didn’t enjoy the Tomahawk Steak but every item selected for us was phenomenal. Don’t worry you can order your tacos in sets of 2 or 3 and don’t have to be punished with the burden of unnecessary optionality. Highly recommend!
Absolutely LOVED the vibrant colors and positive ambience - the staff took the time to share the history of the art / decor. We had an array of food choices and presentation on food and drinks were nothing less than amazing. Fell in love with the shot flight delivery. Definitely a place I would encourage for great groups and even intimate meals (it will only be positive and memorable). I have continued coming and plan on continue sharing how amazing this place is!!
The food was so good, fresh and authentic. The service was top notch with very friendly staff helping us throughout our meal. Would definitely stop in again next time I’m in town!
Visited Tacos Del Cartel in downtown New Orleans on Girod for a drink. I was told I had to check out this place, and I’m glad I did. It has a lively, vibrant atmosphere. I loved the energy in the place. What really stood out were the bartenders. They don’t just mix drinks, they put on a show. I was thoroughly entertained while just chilling at the bar. The drink menu itself is lighted…10/10 and offers plenty of specialty cocktails and unique drinks, and the service was great. I haven’t had a chance to try the food yet, but if it’s anything like the vibe and drinks, I don’t think I’ll be disappointed. I’ll definitely be back soon and will post an updated review once I’ve tried some dishes on the menu.
Came here for my cousin’s birthday and it was my first experience here. Absolutely amazing! From the food to the service and beautiful atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back! The tuna tostada, birria tacos and the drinks were so tasty.
Super ‘fun’ all around. Fun gimmick-type arrangements to drive engagement but shouldn’t take away from the food itself, which creatively serves and presents soft shell corn tacos with a handful of meats to choose from. Was lickin’ my chops to take a dive at the 50oz tomahawk but was more situated for a night cap.
Oh my god. I will be back. My tacos were Sooo good. My server was so nice to me and patient. Allowed me to ask questions and order exactly how I wanted. I sat at the bar. The atmosphere and music and weather was so good. Sn- the rice was crunchy and not completely soft so I avoided that but everything else was so good. If you are in the area- must visit.
